Frequently Asked Questions

YLWH are less engaged in HIV care than adults, less represented in HIV research, and likely to be the most affected by decisions related to risks and benefits of cure strategies versus continuing antiretroviral therapy (ART). We are interested in how researchers can gain a better understanding of the views of a generation that will be at the forefront of decision-making and will require a thorough understanding of the risks and benefits of HIV cure strategies. This research hopes to inform future decisions regarding social, behavioral, and ethics of HIV cure research.
